The Nicholas County Historic Landmark Commission (NCHLC) is the official local review body for nominations to the National Register of Historic Places. As a Certified Local Government (CLG), we help property owners, consultants, and community members navigate the process of nominating historic sites, buildings, and districts.
Submitting a nomination is the first step in recognizing and protecting places of historical, cultural, and architectural significance in Nicholas County.
